The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
The above quote comes from the Bible, and takes us back to the Beginning. It takes us back to the time when people lived for almost one thousand years without the benefit of the medicine of our modern times. This is the foundation on which I base my belief that herbs are the natural solution for most conditions. It is for this reason that I choose to promote many of the natural health supplements that I or others have found successful.
Since man’s early years consisted mainly of a diet of plants which enabled them to live a long life, it stands to reason that the same diet would produce longevity today, or at least a healthy life. This is what continues to motivate me to seek out supplements which have been preserved in their purest forms which will help in maintaining the body’s natural defense against sickness and disease.
During my many years of searching I discovered many companies which manufacture high quality products. Many consumers have found the products of several companies to be beneficial to them, but my reviews for the most part, are geared toward those companies and/or products with which I have had personal experience. I do this because, if it has worked for me, I am confident that there are others like me who will gain some satisfaction from using them.
I have already reviewed and highly recommend a company, Nature’s Sunshine Products, because of its superb method of manufacturing and processing its product line and also because I use their herbal supplements on a daily basis (see that review here). (I don’t think it is necessary to say that if they were not working, I wouldn’t still be using them after 30 years).
Another Awesome Company
I would like to give an equal opportunity to another company for your consideration. This company specializes in one product, but diversifies this product into many flavors.
I began this blog by using a quotation which states that the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. And this is just what the company concentrates on – the leaves of the trees. In this review, I shall discuss a product which has been made from the leaves, root, stem, flowers and bark of trees and has been produced in a liquid form to achieve great health results. I am referring to Essential Oils.
Essential Oils come about as a result of a process known as the distillation. The dictionary defines distillation as “t
The company I have chosen to review because of the excellence of their essential oils, is Eden’s Garden.
Edens Garden is a relatively new company, founded in 2009. While on a missions trip to New Zealand, the founder, Grace, realized the value of relaxing in an atmosphere of natural surroundings. The peace and refreshing it brought to her inspired her to create a company which would produce the fragrance of nature and at the same time harness the healing properties of the plants.
Since that time the company has gone on to manufacture 103 single oils and 37 blends. What this means as an example: you may have the peppermint leaf – this leaf can be made into a highly potent oil by itself, or it can be blended with other oils to create another effect. Pure oil is chosen when there is a need for help with a certain health concern, while the blends are designed to achieve a certain purpose such as breathing, calming, etc.
Important Facts About Edens Garden
- Edens Gardens extracts their oils at low temperature and low pressure. This means that when the leaves, skin and seeds are pressed, similar to pressing olives for oil, the low pressure ensures that most of the oil is garnished;
- They produce oils from plants grown in their indigenous location – plants are grown in their natural habitat;
- They use wild-crafted and organic plants;
- They have 100% pure essential oils, nothing added – no chemicals, pesticides, gmos or natural fertilizers are used during the growing or distillation process;
- They get their oils tested by third-parties to ensure a high quality.
How is the oil produced
Generally speaking, essential oil is produced in the following manner. Freshly picked plants are suspended over boiling water, and the steam pulls the oils out of the plant. The steam rises, is captured in a vessel, and is pushed along tubing. Then the steam is rapidly cooled, causing it to condense back into water. Since water and essential oils do not mix, the two separate, and the essential oil is collected. – (Taken from HowStuffWorks).
Some of the Benefits of Essential Oils
While I have not personally used Edens Garden’s essential oils in the past, I am placing an order for their Lavender oil, which, experts say, has been used for muscle pain, headaches and sinus conditions. I have, however, used another oil from Natures Sunshine called Tei Fu Oil, and I have found that it clears sinus congestion, and when applied topically on a fresh cut, it stops the pain and causes the cut to heal quickly.
I can also offer you a testimonial of a satisfied customer who has used essential oils:
Peppermint oil, for instance, can be used for so many things. For instance, when I have a headache, I mix it with a carrier oil and put it on my forehead. It seems to immediately banish the pain, at least for me. This is one of the reasons I haven’t owned any over-the-counter pain medications in years. I also use peppermint oil for cleaning and for insect control. Ants hate the smell of this aromatic, which is very pleasing to humans.
I hope this review has been helpful for you. Oils from Edens Garden can be ordered from Amazon. You will find them reasonably priced in comparison to the oils of other companies. Click here or on the bottle below.
